Essential storage
Authentication and security storage is required for account access. Signup and onboarding drafts prevent accidental loss while moving between steps.
Preference storage
Density, motion, dismissed notices, and similar quality-of-life settings can be stored on the device or in the member profile.
Control
Non-essential analytics or advertising storage should remain disabled until a consent system and reviewed privacy disclosure are implemented.
